Can a pre-adolescent have nocturnal emissions before puberty?
I would say, that if he is having nocturnal emissions at any age, he has already started puberty. Puberty can start at any age. A young girl in England became pregnant a few years ago aged 8. I think you should start telling the story about the birds and the bee’s immediately, before he starts to get feelings to experiment. If it is your son we are talking about, I certainly would not say you found out about it, through washing his clothes. Perhaps he knows that he has some sticky stuff in his undies when he wakes up and perhaps he is worried that there is something ‘medically wrong’ with him but is too embarressed to say something. I have read some articals in the past, that blame hormons in our food chain, to cause puberty to start in kids younger and younger. I also have known boys at 9 and 10 years of age to masturbate and ejeculate. Hope this helps you.
