Can a secondary agency provide summer programming to students enrolled in a DAEP or JJAEP?

0

The purpose and intent of this program is to put suspended or expelled students to work in the community during the time they are suspended or expelled from school. If the student was suspended or expelled from school just before the summer break or if the DAEP or JJAEP operates on a year round calendar or if the students being served did not complete their placement at the end of the regular semester, the secondary agency may provide summer programming to those students; however, the students may not receive credit for merely participating in or completing these activities.
