A strong GPA can point to your ability to perform well academically, however the whole application is evaluated, so we do not directly trade off GMAT/GRE with GPA or vice versa. GPA measures past performance over a prolonged time period whereas GMAT/GRE measures current potential with a significant time constraint. We therefore look for trends to identify what these indicators and the rest of your application tell us about your ability to succeed in the program.
