The current rules governing distance learning offers courses to all students in the state of Arkansas. As stated in 9.05 of the document “Courses offered or taught through the Arkansas Distance Learning Development Program may be offered or taught to public school students, private school students, and home school students in the State of Arkansas. Public school students will be given priority when scheduling courses. It is important to remember, however, that all classes must be taken on the public school campus. Check with your homeschooling area representative to see how many courses a student can take through a sponsoring school district before being considered a public school student.
