I am from Canada and usally the Canada goverment is willing to help out but no you can use your ssi in Canada but the good news is Canada will help and being a single mother?hell girl we are all over giving you money for kids…..lol they have so many programs for single moms and you get a check every month for each kid you have . I was getting 235 a month and everything 3 months I also got 250 gst check. and if you call our goverment they will give you the list of things they pay for there are alot of programs and plus in Saskatchwan health Care is free…..I don’t know aboutthe other provinces but that one is and albert you pay three hundred for health care every 6 months or something like that. I am living in the states now,so not sure about the rest been awhile since I lived at home.
