Can a yeast infection cause warts on vagina?

No, you cannot get warts from a yeast infection. The doctor should not have disregarded the warts as it probably is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, the virus that can cause cervical cancer and genital warts. If I were you, I would go back to the doctor and have the warts examined again. If they are warts, they can be treated by being frozen off or using Aldara cream. Also make sure you keep up with your PAP smears because HPV can cause abnormalities on the cervix as well.

Genital warts are often described like this: “Genital warts appear as small bumps or clusters of bumps in the genital area. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) , they can be raised or flat, single or grouped, small or large and sometimes they are “cauliflower shaped”. ” They have nothing to do with a yeast infection though. I’d like to clarify a post above about the HPV virus causing genital warts and cervical cancer. HPV (which has approximately 30 strains which can be sexually transmitted) causes both these but with different strains. Strains that cause warts do not cause cervical cancer and vice versa. That does not mean that two or more different strains cannot be present in the same woman just that having genital warts does not automatically raise your chances of cervical cancer. But you should certainly have regular Pap tests anyway.
