No, Accu-Chek Mobile is definitely designed for lay use (no professional use) only. If it is misused and the meter is held upwards instead of downwards when applying the blood, there is a risk of blood running into the cassette casing. Blood could also run below the carrier foil if it is not applied correctly. When the next test area is spooled onto the cassette tip, it may be contaminated below the carrier foil by the blood entered earlier. Then there is a risk of cross-contamination.
