It will be better for your hair, I think, because baby shampoo does not have the sodium/ ammonium laurel sulfates in it that most everything else you get at the drugstore has. You may need to use a greater amount than usual, though – those chemicals are foaming agents, and so baby shampoo will not lather very well in thick or longer hair.
