That is a great question! The short answer is yes, an amateur musician can use some sort of pro mixer software. The long answer though is that you need to be careful what you are getting! Even if you are a seasoned musician who wants to get into recording, you may find that some of the software out there can be very difficult to use. This will take more time away from what you want to do – making and recording music! Just because you may be an amateur doesn’t mean that you can’t record music.
