Students admitted into the Master of Accountancy in Financial Accounting have completed and/or will complete their undergraduate degree prior to beginning the program (e.g., graduate in May). However, the Director, Master of Accountancy in Financial Accounting, in rare cases may permit an undergraduate student majoring in accounting in the Rutgers Business School to take the elective graduate courses prior to the undergraduate student completing his/her undergraduate degree requirements. The conditions that the undergraduate student must satisfy to be considered for taking the graduate elective courses are (1) the student has only one remaining course to complete his/her undergraduate degree, (2) the course will be taken in the spring or fall semester, (3) the graduate elective courses are not required to complete the student’s undergraduate degree and (4) the Dean of Undergraduate Studies provides a letter/memo to the Director, Master of Accountancy in Financial Accounting stating tha
