Can any court breach another courts YRO?
For breach of a YRO made by a youth / magistrates court, the responsible officer lays information before a Justice of the Peace, the summons (or warrant for arrest) will direct the offender to appear at a youth court acting in the local justice area in which the offender resides or that specified in the order (paragraph 5, schedule 2). That court has the power to take action for breach. The court may be different from the court that made the YRO. For breach of a YRO made by the Crown Court, a youth / magistrates court in the local justice area where the young person resides or specified in the order may handle the breach proceedings providing there has been direction to that effect at the point of sentencing (paragraphs 5 and 6 of Schedule 2).
