Can anyone give me some SIMPLE facts about monera?

Monera are bacteria and other mostly tiny, single-celled organisms whose genetic material is loose in the cell. The genetic material of plants, animals, and other eukaryotes (true nucleus), on the other hand, is held in the cell’s nucleus. While the Monera were briefly understood to be one of five biological kingdoms, they were soon understood to comprise two kingdoms: the eubacteria and the archaebacteria (later renamed Bacteria and Archaea) Kingdom Monera contains the smallest, oldest and most abundant oraganisms. Moneran’s are single-celled and have cytoplasm. Monerans don’t have a nucleus. Blue-green algae can survive 80 degree temperatures and some can suvive subzero temperatures. There are more than 1,500 different types of Monerans. Strict halophiles live in extremely salty solutions such as the Dead Sea and the Great Salt Lake. The thermoacidophiles can live in 130 degree weather, they die at 131 degrees.
