Can anyone give me the name of the best (midsection) body shapers?
Couple of suggestions. #1 I have great luck with Sassybax. It’s actually a bra that holds it in and doesn’t push up and has no hooks in back. You step into it like a bathing suit. You have to pull it down a bit to get tummy coverage. They have strapless, I believe. Warning, they are so popular and so incredibly effective that the manufacturer has distribution problems. You have to call around to find one in stock to try on. Plus, they are expensive, about $65 to $75, but for a wedding you might want to spend it, I don’t know. If you just think you can order it off the Internet, you can’t. Unfortunately! #2 If you want one that goes all the way down, a real body shaper, Olga has a really nice sheer one that is very comfortable. About $49 at a Macy’s type store. Of course, that’s not strapless, because the hold-in power comes from being anchored with straps on the top and the under-the-crotch fastener at the bottom. #3 Try a bigger size of the one you already have that pushes the fat up.
I have been using Spanx for a while now. They are definitely the best brand for body shapers. They are high quality & definitely worth the money. I know a lot of friends who also use Spanx & I have heard of a lot of celebrities using them too. I tried other body shapers & I had a lot of trouble. They made it hard to breathe or were just flat out uncomfortable. Spanx are so comfortable, sometimes I forget I’m wearing them. Personally, I like the lace trim camis because I can wear them under my tops & the lace makes them look just like a typical undershirt. The lace ones can also be worn so the lace is not visible & it appears that you are not trying to conceal any extra baggage. They are just so versatile! At first, I only wore Spanx on special occasions or with particular tight-fitting outfits but now I wear them almost everyday. People have even commented on how slim I look!
