Can anyone give me the pros and cons of installing a cork kitchen floor?

Cork is indeed a beautiful product. And it’s so remarkable to stand on. So ‘warm’ (which is to say not at all cold like other laminates or tiles) and comfortable. And it’s really no more difficult to install than any other floating floor. Definitely doable with a little patient DIY determination. I cannot speak to it’s ‘longevity’ personally because our floors are relatively new too. The reports we got from friends and acquaintances were overwhelmingly positive however. The only complaint we heard was that cork will fade over time in direct sunlight. But everyone loved their floors so much – they didn’t really seem to care. (We figured…even with fade…it could never look half as bad as some of the rugs look after a few short years of abuse from our children.) With the product I have, I would definitely have qualms about animal claws or anything that might take a sharp dig into the floor. And I think your concerns about moisture are realistic too. I wouldn’t let anything liquid have
