Mary said yes to become the Mother of God in the person of Jesus Jesus was born in Bethlehem He grew up in Nazareth Worked with his foster father in the carpentry shop Baptized by John in the Jordan Narrated many parables and worked many miracles for the people to hear and see and give God the glory Raised Lazarus from the dead Was persecuted by the religious authorities Triumphant entry into Jerusalem Betrayed by a friend Turned over the moneychngers table Had a Last Supper with chosen friends Agonized over his impending death Condemned by the religious authorities and Pilate Crucified on a tree and buried in the tomb of a friend and probably follower of Jesus
