Can anyone tell me realistically how much money a blackjack dealer at Foxwoods Casino makes per week???Please?

My husband works there right now! Foxwoods recently formed a union so I'm not sure if that's going to change their wages any time soon, but I can tell you what it's like for my husband right now. Foxwoods set wage is $4.25 an hour (I might be off by 25 cents though) but there's something called a toke rate, which is the casino's combined tips for that week. Any tips your husband makes at his table unfortunately gets distributed evenly amongst all the other dealers, but it becomes very fair if another dealer makes a huge tip and your husband doesn't. On an average night (my husband works the "swing shift," which is 3rd shift), my husband makes about $14 an hour. On a good night, he'll be able to pull about $20 an hour. Basically, your husband will make about $100 a night, after taxes. Some things to consider though....if he has to commute far, it might not be worth it.
