Can anyone tell me what does an electrical engineer do? And what does an electronic engineer do?

An electrical engineer designs electrical systems, like the circuits in your house, the wiring in your local businesses, in your appliances, such as air conditioners, all the way to designing power plants that generate electricity. Electronic engineers design things like the circuit boards in your computer, in your T.V., stereo, and dvd player. They design things as small as mp3 players, up to the giant Jumbotron T.V.s at stadiums and Times Squre in NYC. You might think of an electronic engineer as designing the circuits of anything you plug into the wall, and electrical engineers as the guys who design the circuits that get the electrical power TO the plug.  more
