Can artists help us understand behavior of seemingly chaotic natural phenomena via explaining art techniques?
Artists should be skilled at caricature which emphasizes features (perhaps a longer nose on a person with a prominent nose, etc.). When certain features of nature are subtle a good illustration may emphasize the feature for learning purposes. Often astronomy photographs use artificial color to emphasize differences in the shape and content of what is being observed.
