Can Bigfoot really exist?
By Jim Bruun Yeti, Yowee, Skunk Ape, Sasquatch, Abominable Snowman, and Bigfoot are all names of what many (myself included) believe are a variety of humanoids, free in the wilds of the world. Why others believe, I leave to those others. For myself, there are a variety of reasons to believe such a creature could exist, and from the large number of reports, probably does exist. First, is that we keep discovering “extinct” animals. When I was young, the Okapi was discovered to be very much alive. Earlier, the Coelacanth (a fish) thought to be extinct because fossils were found in ancient rock formations, was a part of the current diet of Madagascar fishermen. The various creatures are not seen as extinct or unnatural to the nearby peoples, and are therefore just not mentioned. Second, animals in the wild are very hard to detect, especially by those who aren’t in the exact environment repeatedly.
