Can budgies eat celery leafs?
If they are well washed, it would be safe for them. Whether they will eat any or not is another question. It’s great that you are offering a variety of foods, including green, leafy items. While the celery leaves will not do any harm, there is not a lot of nutrition in them either. I’d like to suggest offering kale, mustard, turnip and collard greens and romaine lettuce. No ice berg lettuce because it is mostly water and no nutrition, and no spinach. The thing with spinach is that while it does have some nutritional value, it also contains oxylates which can bind with calcium and make it useless to their bodies. That can be especially dangerous for a female bird. Another thing you can do with greens has nothing to do with diet but can help if you have one that is reluctant to take a bath or to be misted. Try lining a bowl with several large leafs that you have left soaking wet. It doesn’t work with all birds but many of them will take a bath by rubbing around in the wet leaves. I hope
