I am allergic to corn, dairy products, shellfish, citrus fruits, and peanuts. These foods cause me to have joint pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and eczema. I have had this problem most of my life. I am 42. Within the last 3 years, I have had problems with other foods, oats, soy, grapes, and apples. I think I developed problems with this last group of foods because I consumed them often. I was afraid that my diet would be too restricted if this trend continued. I found a book that said that my problem may be caused by Candidiasis. The book is called, “Food Allergies and Food Intolerance” by Dr. Jonathan Brostoff. He said I could alleviate the problem by cutting down on sugar and yeast, and eating plenty of garlic, lettuce, Pau D’arco tea, etc. I did what he said and it helped. My gastrointerologist says that I don’t have Candidiasis. I had a liver biopsy 3 years ago, when my infected gall bladder was removed. I had a colonoscopy done about 4 months ago.
