if a puppy accidental eats adult dog food they can have diarrhea and blood in the stool because most adult dog food has hard pieces and it can irritate the puppies colon and that makes him/her have diarrhea and blood in the stool. what I do for my puppy is I wrap him up in a soft blanket or I lay him on my lap and very slowly and gently pet his back but that’s what i do to calm my puppy down.
