Can children really hear ultrasonic frequencies?

0

Ultrasonic is generally considered 20,000 Hz and above, while the normal range of hearing in humans is 20 to 20,000 Hz. So technically, they cannot hear ultrasonic frequencies, but they can hear more high frequencies than adults can (we lose high frequency hearing over our lifetimes as we age and are exposed to noise).
