Absolutely not! Rabbits and chinchillas have different diets and rabbit food can kill a chinchilla, depending on the brand your feeding. Either way, a chinchilla needs different living arrangements than a rabbit. Chinchillas jump around a lot. The cage size is the same, but chinchillas need different things than what a rabbit does. House them separately so they both stay safe.
