Only in the scope of triggers. Pervasive.SQL is an excellent database that fits the characteristics of 95% of the organizations and web sites that I have run across who need a database. It does not have the (overly?) rich feature set that enterprise databases such as Oracle, DB/2, or Sybase have so if a project/solution has a full time DBA, envisions queries running for hours/days, unlimited time/budget, or will have terabytes of data then Pervasive.SQL should probably not be considered. For all other cases I believe that Pervasive.SQL can a viable candidate and bring certain benefits to the project that no other database provides plus delivering comparable if not better performance depending on the interface used. The fact that it can have a high learning curve for the developer, but almost zero for the end user and that it comes in Tango provides a compelling reason to evaulate it more often.
