Can decompression sickness be treated?

Yes, through the use of a hypobaric chamber the person with decompression sickness can be recompressed which will cause the nitrogen bubbles to go back into solution and they can be gradually decompressed while under medical care. This won’t cure any of the physical damage caused like ruptured blood vessels, nerve damage, etc. but will stop any more damage from happening.
