Can Denver get Knowshon Moreno and Brandon Marshall more involved?
Moreno (pictured bottom) says his knee — a sprained medial collateral ligament that cost him three preseason games — is healthy and he’s ready for more work after only eight carries for 19 yards against the Bengals. “I just missed a lot of reads, missed a lot of reads,” Moreno told The Denver Post about his first NFL game. “Making the wrong one, making it go outside instead of inside, things like that. It was my first game back, and I had to shake some of the cobwebs out. I wasn’t used to that speed. I guess that counts for being a rookie.” Marshall led Denver with four catches against Cincinnati, but he had two drops and managed just 27 yards receiving. Marshall’s not talking — only a one-minute 40-second interview this week — so one has to hope he will be a little more vocal on the field against the Browns.
