Can drinking vast amounts of water make you look bloated and gain weight?
Water cannot make you ‘gain’ weight; it makes you weigh more because it’s there. It goes in and out. It’s temporary weight. If you drink too much at once, you will feel bloated. After you urinate, you feel lighter and empty. Don’t drink too much at once. Drink small amounts steadily over a moderate period of time. Don’t stop drinking water altogether though; it does much more good for you than just hydrating.
