Can Dura-Foam apply foam over ductwork during the roof installation process?

Occasionally, customers request that we apply our Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) to their ductwork during the roof installation process. Unico Systems and other low profile duct networks that do not hinder roof drainage are well suited for being covered with the Dura-Foam System. In other cases, SPF can be applied to the top and sides of exposed ducts which are elevated above the roof surface when they do not need to be removed temporarily during roof installation. We do not recommend applying SPF to exposed ductwork as a method of waterproofing those ducts. We need to inspect to determine whether we will advise applying SPF to exposed ductwork during the roof installation.
