Can Epilogs lasers etch metal?
Epilog lasers are what are considered low power CO2 (30 to 120 watts), which can engrave and cut most non-metallic materials, but with metals they have to be coated. The laser will just bounce off of uncoated metals. Through a 2-step process, you can add a coating to uncoated metals, such as stainless steel, and when you engrave it you will leave a permanent black mark.
