If faculty and staff have Matlab or Simulink (aquired through NC State’s Mathwork Agreement) installed on their university computer; they may install a second copy on either a portable computer or a computer located at their home. The software on the portable or home computer must meet the following conditions: • has an internet connection to connect to the Matlab license server. • is used for educational purposes only. No commerical use is allowed. Q: How do faculty and staff acquire Matlab for home use? A: Faculty and staff can request Matlab by completing the request on the Get Software page. Once the request is made, the OIT Help Desk will provide the CD media and the installation instructions.
