you must use a different recipe than me! I never put it in the fridge, and it sets fine.

after its set in the fridge you can take it out, it won’t liquify again, but it will get very soft after awhile. I’ve taken it out of the fridge before but once it gets so soft that it gets all over your hands just set in the fridge to harden back up.

I make the old-fashioned stove top kind of fudge and I never put it in the refrigerator (unless the humidity’s off the chart) because I don’t like the slimy residue when it warms back up. If it’s cooked properly, it’ll set up on its own. It may be different with the marshmallow creme type fudge–I don’t know.
