So many times over the past 18 seasons, Georgia Tech has been in position to win an ACC championship, but just hasn’t been able to close the deal. Saturday, the Yellow Jackets (9-1), ranked No. 7 in the BCS, are a pretty strong favorite to win at Duke (5-4) and capture the ACC’s Coastal Division championship. “Our guys understand the opportunity that is in front of them and they know how important it is to go up there and play well,” coach Paul Johnson said. “If we don’t win it won’t be because we weren’t ready to play.
