Can good advertising sell anything?
Marketing (which is more than just advertising) made AOL the biggest dial up provider in the country, even though their service was not nearly as good as their competitors. Advertising alone can indeed sell just about anything. Suppose you somehow ended up with a box full of something really disgusting…. let’s say dead snakes. Advertise them as an environmentally friendly garden treatment. Before they decompose they scare away the birds which would eat the seeds. When they decompose they provide enrichment to the soil. They require no care and no maintence. And for a limited time if you buy one you will get a second one free! Chances are somebody would buy one from you.
