Can graduate students teach courses in the ESS undergraduate curriculum?
Yes, only if the student has completed the College Teaching sequence of courses and the student receives approval from the Chair. In most cases, graduate students are limited to teaching ESS undergraduate majors courses during the summer session, unless it is ESS 2500 or in the case of a faculty shortage (a position is vacant or a faculty member is on official leave).
