Can Growth Spurts occur near the end of puberty, or after puberty?
There are, as you know, five stages of puberty. These stages are defined for boys by the stage of development reached by the genitalia and the pubic hair. However, other physical changes will typically occur within these stages. From the description you give of your own development (pubic hair, a voice change, the ability to ejaculate), you are late in puberty…. probably at Stage 4 or approaching stage 5. Boys (it’s not true of girls) grow taller fastest late in puberty so it’s quite possible that you are in a growth spurt now. Even if you’ve had it,but it was a small one and you didn’t notice it, it’s unlikely you’ll have reached your adult height at 14. Most boys continue to grow slowly taller until their late teens or even early twenties….that is, even after puberty.
