Can HEA non-members attend HEA events?
Yes, if the organizer is willing to collect non-member fees. Guests such as friends and family of HEA Member families, or those enquiring into homeschooling should be encouraged to participate in HEA events without extra cost to them. However HEA differentiates between ‘guests’ and ‘regular homeschooling families’. Homeschooling families are expected to share the costs involved in running the HEA by either becoming HEA members or paying a Non-member fee. Guests are friends and family of HEA Member families, or those enquiring into homeschooling. Everyone attending HEA events must be signed in on the attendance records.
