The DIMMs used in the Sun Ultra 25 Workstation have gone through extensive testing and qualification before being added to Sun’s approved vendor list. Note that not all vendors perform equally, and some third-party memory vendors do not provide the reliability and quality Sun customers expect. Sun recommends that customers use only Sun-qualified memory for maximum reliability.
