Can I be an unclassified graduate student at UH and take MET elective courses?

Yes. The MET Program does require a research course and 12 credits of electives that may be transferred into a student s degree plan, if approved by the program director and Graduate Division. It is recommended that applicants who plan to take courses as an unclassified graduate student meet with the MET Director prior to registering for courses to see if they are transferable as electives.
