Can I be in progress with required course work at the time of application?
For beginning nursing course work in Fall 2011: Students can be in process with pre-requisites at the time of application. If the student is selected for admission, the offer of admission is contingent upon successful completion of pre-requisite course work. Success in the College of Nursing is defined as a grade of C (2.0) or higher. A C- (1.67) is considered a failing grade. For 2+2 Curriculum (nursing course work beginning in Fall 2012): Students can have no more than one Natural Science (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology) in progress or planned at the time of application. A minimum of 48 s.h. of course work must be completed at the time of application. All minimum high school requirements (foreign language and physics), pre-requisites, General Education requirements and a minimum of 64 s.h. must be completed by the start of nursing course work.
