Can I believe that GLASNOST and PERESTROIKA occurred to give socialism a human face?
Communists invented the notion socialism with a human face. One may ask why I always say Communists not the CPSU or the KGB. The KGB was simply a department of the CPSU and was not the most important agent of communism. E.g., Ministry of Culture with its generals or as Stalins engineers of human souls was much more vital for existence of communism. The Soviet communists and e.g. French or American communists lived off money robbed from the Soviet people. Americans or French knew that money came from robbing the masses but wanted to share the stolen wealth. The same was done by the majority of Soviet party nomenclature not every member of a communist party worked as a robber, spy, or an executioner but a majority of the party members supported policies in exchange for privileges. Communists exist everywhere. E.g. in the beginning of 2002, Dzhavad Tabatabay (a very educated Islamic scientist who lived in Paris) said in an interview that the collapse of Soviet communism was an awful blow
