You need to seek exemption from the Common Foundation Programme (CFP) (first year of the DipHE) via an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) portfolio, matching and evidencing your nursing experience against the CFP learning outcomes. You would then undertake the relevant branch training and could also seek exemption for up to 3 branch modules via a portfolio. Acceptance onto the course is subject to funding by the Student Grants Unit and the availability of a place.
