Can I claim both the Australian Government rebate and the NSW Climate Change Fund ceiling insulation rebate?
The Australian Government’s insulation rebate covers the entire cost of installing ceiling insulation, up to $1,600, the NSW Government rebate will end, as scheduled, on 30 June 2009. To ensure public money is properly allocated, we are asking you to declare that the total sum of payments[1] you are receiving do not exceed the total cost[2] of your installed ceiling insulation. You may receive a letter explaining this and asking you to make this declaration (if applicable). We will issue the rebate you are entitled to when we receive your signed declaration.Please note that you can nominate a reduced payment in your declaration so that the total payments you are receiving do not exceed the total costs of your new ceiling insulation.
