Can i claim incapacity benefit while claiming state pension?

It’s very complicated but basically there are some circumstances where you can choose to claim incapacity benefit for an extra five years after you reach state pension age if you were on it when you reached that age, but it depends on things like the type of incapacity benefit and whether you were getting an age-related addition. As far as I can gather from what I looked up you do need to go to the CAB because it is complicated about how different benefits work together, they can also do a benefits check to see if you’re claiming everything you should be. You can only get disability living allowance up to the age of 65, but after 65 you can get attendance allowance if you pass the disability test to see if you might need any help with anything, regardless of whether you are getting it or not, if that makes sense.
