Yes. Note that prior to Building permit approval by Building and Safety Department you will need to get approvals from Planning and Engineering Land Development Departments. Once you have obtained approval from all Departments for the Garage Conversion, then you can obtain a Residential Garage Conversion Combination Permit. Combination Permit will allow you to perform any construction work for the Garage conversion including Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical work.
