Can I convert video files into audio files?

Old style and you can use what you got without downloading software. Most computers come with a program called “Sound Recorder” or in my case to find my recorder I go to Start-> All Programs-> Realteck Sound Manager-> AvRack. Try looking what sound recorder you got. Once you got the program click on settings and select the record tab and make sure the stereo mix is activated (not muted) as this is the volume you will be recording at. In your settings also look for the quality that you will be recording at 44.1khz 16 bit stereo is good. Now the nice thing about this set up is, whatever you are playing may it be your video or even streaming a radio station or playing with your media player. This will all be recorded with your sound recorder, as long as you press record and stop. Like I said, this is old style recording as if it were the Old fashioned tape recorders. It works for me when I want yo record audio that I am streaming from a radio station, it will also work with your video.
