Can I cut and trim the RaceDeck flooring?

Yes. All RaceDeck polypropylene (PPV) flooring (Diamond, CircleTrac, FastDeck and FreeFlow) can easily be cut to fit. We recommend several ways to cut the flooring, one is if you are only cutting a few tiles in a straight line, get a commercial grade utility knife and a straight edge, then “score” the tile a few times, bend it, and then make one more clean cut. Second, for cutting several times we recommend using a table saw or “chop” saw with a Fine Tooth blade of at least 32-teeth or more to get a nice clean cut. And then finally, to make curved or angles cuts we recommend a band saw. DuraGrid, our rubberized flooring is easily cut with scissor or sheers. Also, remember to keep a 1/4″ gap between the RaceDeck flooring and the adjoining wall, this allows the flooring to expand and contract to avoid “buckling”.
