Can i defrost/heat frozen home made baby food straight from frozen into a bottle/food warmer?
Sorry, not sure about the TT warmer, but yes you can put frozen food in a saucepan to defrost/heat. As for introducing chunkier foods, you’ve really got to take it from your baby’s cues. It depends on the age of your baby, how long they have been eating food, and if *you* think they are ready. You could always try mashing some food, instead of pureeing, start with leaving smaller lumps, and then work up. Gagging is normal when they first come across lumps. I think, that after 6 months it’s best to introduce lumps quite soon, as otherwise babies can totally refuse anything that’s not a puree. I know of a 2.5 year old who will refuse to eat anything except yogurts or weetabix… Still go with your instincts though, don’t rush, but don’t be afraid of your baby trying lumpier food.
