NO! Each dumpster is someones leased property. They are charged an added fee if their dumpster is overfilled or the area around it is cluttered. It is against the City of Denton Solid Waste ordinance to use anothers dumpster without permission. This is a class "C" misdemeanor with a fine of up to $500. If you have a question about garbage pick ups or need a special pick up call The City of Denton Solid Waste Department at: (940) 349- 7314 or (940) 349-8444. The call is much cheaper than the fine.
