No. Writing fictional stories online doesn’t really make money. Posting your stories/draft on the web is the same with giving out free copies of your novels for everyone to read. Take a look at G. Normand.Lippert, who wrote the James Potter Series. He continued to write the harry potter series from the point of view of Harry’s son, but even if he already made 3 books all in all, he didn’t get a single penny from writing it.. If you’re writing a story, try to actually finish it and sends it to any publishing house. Publishing your novels physically makes money, instead of publishing it online.
